Carlo Moss is a writer and producer best known for creating the hit stop-motion series, The Most Popular Girls in School. Over the course of five seasons, “MPGIS” went on to become one of Youtube’s biggest scripted series ever, amassing more than 1 million subscribers and 150 million views. Along the way, Carlo was nominated for a Streamy and was featured in Youtube’s Creator Playbook for his work on the show. The series was eventually sold to NBCUniversal, where Carlo developed a television version with Charlize Theron, as well as a film spin-off with Gunpowder and Sky. Additionally, he created the stop-motion series, Dr. Havoc’s Diary for TruTV and later, Syfy.

Carlo has also served as the Sr. Director of Development for the Russo Bros’ Octopie Studios, and was a co-founder of the stop-motion production house, Extra Credit Studios, where he served as Chief Creative Officer. Over the course of his career, Carlo has written, produced, and developed TV and digital properties with a wide variety of partners including Eric Andre, Ronda Rousey, Michelle Visage, Anna Akana, Tegan & Sara, Verizon, Twitter, WarnerMedia, Freeform, and Sesame Workshop, among others. In 2020, he founded Maranty Media, a startup aimed at demystifying the art of pitching for creators in all genres.
